Here is a video created by Scottie Clarke with the intent to debunk the Revelation of the Abomination of Desolation that I have been sharing. You may choose to listen and watch his video first, or to listen to my audio response and documentation first.

Some of the questions that were mentioned by Scottie in his video are...

1. WHAT IS THE HOLY PLACE?

2. WHAT IS THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION?

3. WHO WAS JESUS TALKING TO IN MATTHEW 24: 15, WHO WILL SEE THE ABOMINATION? 

4. WHERE IS THE REVELATION 11 TEMPLE LOCATED?

I will address the top concern here, as that will help us see that we need to re-consider all other aspects of what we were expecting to see from the Abomination of Desolation, once we see that the Holy Place Jesus mentioned is NOT the temple. As Scottie mentioned in the video, he sees it as a waste of time to consider my theories as the Abomination simply cannot happen yet, based on the fact that there is not a temple built yet. According to Scottie and those who stand with him, the rapture must happen before the final 7 years, and the Abomination happens 3.5 years after that, so these things simply cannot happen yet, which makes consideration of my findings non essential. (Searching the Bible for Truth is NEVER a waste of time!)

So let us look at the Holy Place again, and consider based on New Testament understanding of what the Third Temple is. 

WHAT IS THE HOLY PLACE? 

1. Jesus mentioned the Abomination of Desolation two times...

Matthew 24:15. Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ 
spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” 
(whoever reads, let him understand). 

Mark 13:14. So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ 
spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” 
(let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 

Notice that only once is the Holy Place mentioned. In Mark it simply states, "standing where it ought not."

2. Both chapters where the Abomination is mentioned starts out with a very important detail about the temple... both whole chapters revolve around the fact that the second temple has been destroyed. 

Matthew 24:1-2 Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

Mark 13:1-2 Then as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!”

2 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

3. Notice that Daniel mentions the Abomination 3 times.

Text #1. Daniel 9:27.  Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.”

Text #2. Daniel 11:31. And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.

Text #3. Daniel 12:11. And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. 

Three passages from Daniel, and there is no mention of Holy Place, nor a mention of temple. The term he uses to describe the place of the Abomination is called the Sanctuary Fortress. We cannot add to scripture, so we must not assume Daniel means temple when he does not say temple, nor did he say Holy Place nor Holy of Holies, so we cannot assume that either. 

So far what we can see is that what Daniel called the Sanctuary Fortress Jesus called the Holy Place. 

The Sanctuary Fortress = Holy Place

(I forgot to mention this in the audio blog, but wanted to remind everyone here that Israel itself is God´s Holy Land... the temple is not the only Holy Place. 

Exodus 3:5

Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.”

Joshua 5:14-15

14 So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”

15 Then the Commander of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.

Hebrews 9:24

For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;)

4. What is the 3rd temple?

In both Matthew 24 and Mark 13 Jesus prophesied that the 2nd temple would be destroyed. Did Jesus ever prophesy that there would be a third temple? Jesus never mentioned a third temple building. He did say this though... 

John 2:19-21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body.

5. Where is the Revelation 11 Temple? 

Scottie and others cite Revelation 11 as New Testament proof that there will be a third temple. Rev 11:1 "Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there."

But what does Rev 11:19 say about the location of this temple? 

Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

6. The Bible says that when Jesus died the veil of the Temple was rent in two. This paved the way for all true believers to be priests before God and to be able to enter into the Holy of Holies. We now have been granted access to the Father by way of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. 

Matthew 27:51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split...

Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 

Ephesians 2:14-18 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

7. What do the Apostles show to be the Third Temple? Do they mention a temple building? Or is something else referrred to now in the New Testament when the Temple is mentioned? 

 I Cor 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

I Peter 2:5 You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 

Matthew 12:6 

Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple.

Last Passage... 

8. Paul Mentions the Antichrist sitting in the Temple of God, proclaiming himself to be god. What does this mean in light of all we have already seen about the New Testament definition of Temple? 

II Thess 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Jesus rent the veil, and the way to the Holy of Holies in Heaven has already been prepared. Is God´s plan for His People to go back to the way of the Temple with sacrifices of animals and rituals? Or has a new way been prepared, not based on law but based on love and forgiveness and a new way that gives life and not death? 

Even if a third temple is built, will it be God´s Temple? Will God be glorified in a building made by hands, with outdated and abominable sacrifices that no longer can forgive sins?  What about the Blood of Jesus Christ, where does that stand? 

Not only is the third temple not prophesied or needed in the New testament, it would be a total and absolute abomination, as this represents rejection of the sacrifice of the Blood of Jesus Christ and it negates the Cross. Jesus paid for our sins with His blood, and the way has been paved through the renting of the veil. Then Jesus hung His head and declared...

IT IS FINISHED!!!

Once we see that the Abomination of Desolation CANNOT occur in a non existent temple, then we realize it is time to RE - SEARCH our theories about what we thought this event would be. This is what has been revealed to me. I am not sharing what I have studied over years. What I share has been revealed to me by the Father, and it is absolutely 100% in line with all aspects of scripture, there are no contradictions. 

I pray you will be able to take the time and energy necessary to study out all that has been revealed at this late hour. A true understanding starts with the fear of the Lord and with Humility to seek the Lord for the Hidden wisdom, the Hidden Manna, the Fresh Bread from Heaven. 

Revelation 2:7

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”’
